Personnel, Training and Diversity
It is the responsiblity of HMIC's Personnel, Training and Diversity department to conduct the inspection of personnel, human resources, training and development functions conducted in the police service in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
This is in discharge of HMIC’s duties and powers under the Police Act 1996, Local Government Act 1999, and Criminal Justice and Police Act 2001.
