  The BCU response to the recommendations made following the inspection in April 2004 appears to have been co-ordinated and mature. There have been significant improvements in this area since April 2004. There have been changes to the SMT, which has assisted the BCU Commander and enhanced the cohesion of the management team. The re-inspection team is confident that the work being undertaken by the BCU senior command team, together with planned changes at Force level, will address all of the recommendations made following the BCU Inspection.
