Other Jurisdiction Inspections
HMI Prisons are also invited to a number of non English or Welsh prison establishments. HMI Prisons inspects these establishments to the same standard and criteria as an English or Welsh establishment. In this section, reports for the Channel Islands, Isle of Man, Military Corrective Training Centre, Northern Ireland establishments, the Crown Sovereign bases in Cyprus, Canadian establishment and other Crown dependencies can be found.
Criminal Justice Joint Inspections (CJJI)
This section contains the reports that have been conducted by the five Criminal Justice Inspectorates. Reports here are conducted jointly between HM Inspectorate of Prisons, HM Inspectorate of Probation, HM Inspectorate of Constabulary, HM Inspectorate of Court Administration and HM Crown Prosecution Service Inspectorate.
Offender Management Inspections (OMI)
Offender management inspection (OMI) entails visits to all 42 NOMS areas over a three year period from May 2006. The inspection programme was developed with HM Inspectorate of Probation.
